However, the disadvantage is that wrought iron furniture is heavy and is extremely difficult to move around. Another disadvantage of wrought iron is that it can develop rust with extreme exposure to sun and rain. Hence, it must be painted periodically so as to avoid any rust formation. In comparison with metal furniture, aluminum is a good choice. Aluminum is quite a sturdy metal that can ably withstand the vagaries of weather. Moreover, aluminum furniture contains a glossy look that provides a shiny appearance. The furniture is lightweight and can be easily carried. However, the disadvantage is that aluminum tends to lose its shine with time. And also, aluminum furniture is brittle and gets distorted quite easily.
