Medical Hair Loss Meets its Match: Human Hair Wigs
I couldn’t believe the beautiful and confident Caroline Smart, my high school BFF, would cover her head with lace front wigs. Her extravagant hair was synonymous with her personality. But surprise surprise. Our favorite gal will always be recognized because of her impeccable looks. Very few realize she utilizes human hair wigs. Guess it’s no secret anymore.
Back in the day as blossoming ladies in the hill country, we always stole the spotlights to every dance. In our twenties her alopecia reared its head and her hair wouldn’t be the same. I recommended a few lace front wigs. Even so it didn’t matter much. The incredible woman somewhat obnoxiously demonstrated her shaved head.
Appearing at her fiance’s golf competition, we taunted the players till her loverboy purposefully flung the orb (or that thing they use) into the stands. My bff dove for the ball when her hat landed in a beer, unveiling her bald head. Undisturbed, she tossed the ball right back at him. That’s so her!
That said, it eventually got to her. Not too long after we got together for a “Gilmore Girls” binge, where she laughed nervously and told me that she would rather do without hair as a statement. She would never consider medical wigs, even if she wanted her hair back. Suddenly she our fearless protagonist turned flush red and demanded that I dismiss the notion. She really needed help.
There was no way to get her words out of my head. That night, I called about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. Finally we both ended up with the obvious conclusion: we’ll think of wigs as fashion, and we love fashion. I used my credit card, and it was worth it.
The both of us were flabbergasted by how natural they looked. She couldn’t believe that wigs were very appealing for a lot of people. These lace front wigs brought out her youthful spirit. I pieced together an entirely fresh set of outfits to wear with my wig. We’re inseparable, but you knew that already. Not long ago she gave me a photo of us in our wigs and thanked me for her wig, and explained it fosters a new attitude in her life. It’s my pleasure to realize her live a happier existence. Friends can do anything!
